On Mount Olympus the the twelve gods live in ravines, “the mysterious folds of Olympus” according to Homer. The summit Pantheon (today’s Mytikas) is their meeting place. Their tempestuous discussions are heard by the god of gods Zeus sitting on his imposing throne (today’s Stefani). From there he unleashes his thunderbolts displaying “his godly wrath”. Today a national park that is famous for its endemic plants, forested slopes, waterfalls and the many trails that traverse this stunning mountain.
Olympias is a modern fishing village situated in a beautiful bay. The ancient city of Stageira, birthplace of Aristotle, is within walking distance. There is a string of amazing beaches along the coastline for excellent bathing. A cruise to view the impressive monasteries of Mt Athos is a highlight.

20 MAY, MONDAY
Transfer by coach from Thessaloniki airport to Mt Olympus. Welcome drink and dinner at Ktima Bellou. Overnight.
21 MAY, TUESDAY
Optional walk in the area. Followed by a visit to a winery. Return to hotel by coach. Overnight at Ktima Bellou.
22 MAY, WEDNESDAY
Optional jeep safari and hike on the lower slopes of Mt Olympus. Picnic lunch. Return Ktima Bellou. Overnight.
23 MAY, THURSDAY
Optional tour to the lower slopes of Mt Olympus. Short hikes. Visit to ancient Dion. Return to Ktima Bellou. Overnight.
24 MAY, FRIDAY
Optional Tour to Prionia (highest point that can be reached by vehicle) on Mt Olympus. Optional trek along a footpath to Agios Dionysus monastery. Then to Litohoro for lunch. Return to by coach to Ktima Bellou. Overnight.
25 MAY, SATURDAY
Depart by coach to Olympias via Holomontas maintain range. Visit to the picturesque village of Arnea. Continue to Olympias. Overnight Hotel Liotopi.
26 MAY, SUNDAY
Day at leisure. Optional visits to ancient Stageira close by. Overnight Hotel Liotopi.
27 MAY, MONDAY
Drive to Ouranoupolis. Optional cruise to Mt Athos. Viewing the impressive monasteries from the sea. Break for lunch. Return to Olympias. Overnight Hotel Liotopi.
28 MAY, TUESDAY
Optional day trip to Rendina gorge and the ancient city of Amphipolis. Return to Olympias. Overnight Hotel Liotopi.
29 MAY, WEDNESDAY
Drive to the slopes of Mt Holomontas for some hiking. Return to Olympias. Overnight Hotel Liotopi.
30 MAY, THURSDAY
Depart for Thessaloniki airport. Return flight home.

Dinners at the Ktima Bellou will be organic specialities prepared with produce from the farm and will be buffet style. At Olympias the Hotel Liotopi also owns a taverna in the village where delicious meals can be savoured.

How to Book a Naturally Greece Tour
Early application is recommended to avoid disappointment. Complete the on line booking request and we will reply with confirmation to your e-mail address.
For our tours € 250 (euros) per person is required (or full payment if the booking is made within two months of departure).Upon receipt of your deposit we will send you a confirmation receipt.
How to Pay
By secure payment link or by bank transfer. We do not accept American Express cards. Please Note: Credit card charges are non-refundable under any circumstance.
Payment of Balance
The full payment is due two calendar months prior to departure.
It is essential that you have full insurance cover in force for the duration of the tour. Please note your insurance will not be effective and you will not be covered for cancellation charges until you pay the full premium. We require all participants to have adequate travel insurance covering accidents, sickness, medical expenses, repatriation and personal liability as well as cancelled, delayed and missed departure. We also recommend ensuring you have cancellation cover in place for all tours, from the time of booking.
It is your own responsibility to book and pay for your flights to Greece. Upon booking your flights, please complete the Flight Confirmation Form at least 2 months before commencement of the tour and send by e-mail.
Fitness to Travel
Passengers should be in good health as all tours involve a fair amount of walking often over uneven cobbled streets, rough paths, steep hillsides or steps.
Hotel accommodation is in twin-sharing or double-bedded rooms with private bath or shower and toilet. We will try to accommodate clients who request single rooms. We will also try to accommodate clients travelling on their own but wishing to share, but if there is no other single person on the tour willing also to share we will have to charge the single room supplement.
Any special requests made on your booking form will be noted and we will do our best to provide these for you. We cannot, however, guarantee to comply with your request.
Changes by Naturally Greece
At present all information regarding the tour has been checked and is, to the best of our knowledge, correct. However, for reasons beyond our control, changes may need to be made to hotels, programmes and leaders. We cannot therefore guarantee that itineraries and programmes will be followed as published.
Cancellation by Customers
Should you have to cancel your tour, you should notify us in writing advising us of the reason for cancellation. The scale of cancellation charges is calculated according to the number of days prior to departure that written notice is received by us.
